Courtyard by Marriott Brisbane South Bank

Great location, although the views from my room were not as inspiring. The staff was friendly and accommodated my early check-in and late check-out, which was nice. The rooms are okay, on a smaller side, though. The bed was comfortable and large. Firm mattress. On things that could be improved: The sound from outside is not completely blocked off by the glazing of the facade, so it's rather noisy because they have a busy street downstairs. The rooms didn't have a coffee machine, just instant coffee and a kettle. I really like having a good coffee early in the morning, so it was a little bit of disappointment. The gym and pool are available at the venue, but both are rather small. I would recommend just going for a run and swimming at the South Bank reserve instead. The included breakfast was solid. Big enough to get you going in the morning. It's not a breakfast buffet, but instead, you can order one drink and one meal from a set menu. Good experience overall.

Having 2 nights here. This hotel located next to SouthBank. You can have a nice evening stroll by the banks, having meals n enjoys the sun (I came here for summer - december). I highly recommend this hotel, especially they have "hospital safety grade" bathrooms and for some rooms the bathroom itself is quite big, so you could bring in wheels inside. My parents love it.

On my fourth visit now and will keep coming back! Central location and world class amenities like slippers, bottled water and wet wipes. Love that I can keep my room key on my phone, pool and gym are clean and functional and room is always cleaned and towels replaced. Lobby always smells wonderful and staff have been nothing but accomodating. Chat in app makes asking silly questions 10x easier too!

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I must say it was a disappointing experience. The first thing that struck me was the cleanliness, or rather the lack of it. The blankets and sheets in my room were visibly dirty, and I couldn't help but feel uncomfortable sleeping in such conditions. I woke up with an itch all over my body, which was far from pleasant. Furthermore, the staff's attitude left much to be desired. They were not friendly or accommodating, making the overall atmosphere less than welcoming. Additionally, I was surprised to find that basic amenities like slippers and ear cleaners were not provided in the room. These are small details that can significantly impact a guest's comfort and convenience. ***Make sure pay through the Booking website. Don't pay at the reception they will charge you more.*** All in all, my stay at this hotel was far from enjoyable. I would not recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable and pleasant accommodation experience.
